Introducing North Stills double walled (jacketed) 50 litre stainless steel boiler. This unit is heated by inserting an electrical element into the chamber on the bottom between the two walls. The space between the walls is filled with water or heat transfer fluid. This allows for even heat distribution inside the internal kettle with no hot spots, allowing you to distill on mashes containing solids with no risk of scorching!
Also comes with a removable 3″ lid, sloped bottom, butterfly valve drain, thermometer and optional pressure relief valve. Very easy to clean inside with a 15″ open top. Also comes with a 1/2″ NPT port on the bottom for draining the fluid inside the jacket when desired. 1.5mm thick 304 stainless steel.
